JFK Airport

With the snow storm on the way to the Tri-State area, many flights from Newark Liberty Airport is canceled and has a headache and confusion for hundreds of passengers stood in line to fly.
By 4 clock on Sunday Continental had made 220 flights in the Northeast, and travelers were waiting to see if your specific flight was canceled.
"My husband has a Blackberry updated on your phone every five minutes. It was the test. We have every single night," said New Jersey resident, Daniel Price, whose flight was not cleared in Disneyland.
Price and his family waited an hour just to check luggage.
"They said they are dealing with a lot of people very, very angry, but what you do," he said.
United, meanwhile, canceled 61 departures from Newark, LaGuardia and JFK.
One passenger said he had a narrow escape, went home to New Jersey back on Christmas Day.
"It's always easier to go home for Christmas. Usually make New Year. Less congestion at the airport, you had no delay, everything went well, [and] everything went very well," said Bill Galik.
Some passengers were lucky to escape in the calm before the storm.

Carol Katz of Brooklyn, left for Aruba on time and expects that the nightmare of the usual airport.
"It's like every year, but you know what? You pay the price, but enjoy the party, he said, adding that his step-son is expected to be able to fly on Monday.
Some families were somewhat more optimistic.
Joe, Bobby and his family in Bergen County, said he was positive his flight to the Dominican Republic came to pass, but it would not be the end of the world if the flight was delayed.
"Should I was a little disappointed because I party here in New Jersey. If we get a hotel room, we will start the night here before taking it," said a member of the family who want to stay and watch the game Jets.
Due to the expected snow, six airlines-American, Delta, Jet Blue, Continental, United and U.S. Airways do not use any change fees for passengers who travel through the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
