It is less than an hour before the countdown begins at the New York Times Square. Millions of people around the world is waiting to witness this one of the biggest New Years Eve 2011 celebration. Most of people will surely wait this event thru their computers thru online broadcast or even live broadcast on selected TV Stations like FOX.As the reports yesterday the New York City’New Years Eve Ball is picture perfect ready and the NYPD is ready for any threats.

It was fully ready that approximately 6:00 p.m. EST today, the Times Square New Year’s Eve Ball was raised to the top of the 77-foot flagpole at One Times Square (Broadway at 43rd Street) and lit. There will be an hourly live countdown update of the ball drop from 7pm to 9pm courtesy of Carson Daly, Ryan Seacrest and Anderson Cooper as musical performances by Elvis Crespo, Kesha, and Taio Cruz.
In 60 seconds before the New Year’s Eve 2011 at exactly 11:59 pm, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg will push the Waterford crystal button to signal the start of the countdown ball drop in Times Square. of the New Year’s Eve Ball, and lead the final sixty-second countdown to the New Year 2011 at the Nivea Countdown Stage.

At the end of the countdown, the lights on the New Year’s Eve Ball are turned off as the numerals of the New Year “2011” will burst to life shining high above Times Square.
