Continued delays and cancellations of trains snowstorm extended to Tuesday, snarling work and travel plans of thousands of people.
Miguel de Paoli, a lawyer from Old Bethpage, had planned to relax at the Great Wolf Lodge with their three children now.
Instead, she was waiting in Manhattan, caught his brother's house since Sunday and was at Penn Station at 6:30 clock Tuesday by a train home.
"My three children will not be happy," said Paoli, 39 "We have not yet called today."
Only four branches - Babylon, Port Washington, Ronkonkoma and Huntington lines - sent the trains west to Penn Station on Tuesday morning in a slow time. Train to the East is very low, with only the Babylon branch trains on a sporadic schedule.
Jeanette Smith, Gibson, 56, of Brooklyn, went a quarter mile to the subway as a nanny in Syosset seek work. He said he tried to go to the Atlantic Avenue station before arriving at Penn at 7 clock
Gibson said she missed work on Monday LIRR did not work.
