For a week of announcements of commitments from celebrities, singer John Mellencamp and his wife Elaine Irwin-model have decided to divorce his public.
After 20 years of marriage, the two are separate, according to TMZ. If a representative has not said whether the divorce papers were presented, however, appears to be a divorce, neutrality between the two.
"John Mellencamp and Elaine are proud of their combined 20 years and are very pleased with their performance as well as parents and family," his spokeswoman said in a statement on Thursday.
"They will continue to increase their two children in Indiana, but decided to call it a day to two."
