Suzuki Cup Final

The second stage of the AFF Suzuki Cup Finals are three absences in the areas of Indonesia and Malaysia.

Indonesia end Oktovianus Manian, together with other Malaysian and Jasuli Mahalli Amirulhadi Zainal is suspended for Wednesday's final.

The trio recorded their second bookings of the tournament in the first phase in Kuala Lumpur on Boxing Day.

They were among eight players from both sides of a yellow card and was in danger of missing the final if they make a book a second.

Malaysia is preparing for his first title after winning a 3-0 lead in the first inning.

However, they do not need a booster injection of 5.1 out of Indonesia during his opening match of the group.

Malaysia coach is confident his team will not sit again in the second stage.

"I arrived in Jakarta with optimism, because we have a three-goal lead, but we will not be easy to play against a good team like Indonesia in front of their fans," Rajagobal was quoted saying in the official website of Suzuki Cup.

"We have to play well and our approach must be very high throughout the game. How do you play at home and his followers fully behind them, they will attack us from the start and try for an early goal to leave to cut the deficit."

On the other hand, there is no guessing what will be the tactic in Indonesia are seen as the huge deficit to be bridged.

"We know that our position is not good because we lose by three goals, we need to address early in the game," said team manager Andi Darussalam.

"But at the same time we must be careful in defense, because it showed some weaknesses in our last game and coach Riedl has done work with our lawyers to make things better in this area.

Whatever the result on Wednesday, the story will make as the two teams have never lifted the title.
