The flight from hell happened on Christmas Eve, when 300 passengers of a U.S. Air toPhiladelphia Madrid were at the start and runway at Dublin Airport for seven hours before they are allowed to go aground. The flight was canceled later.
Adverse weather conditions forced a delay at the airport last week, but the flight was on Christmas Eve is the worst delays.
U.S. Airways Flight 723 was flying at up to 11.05 hours and was delayed.
The passengers finally came to 13 hours
For seven hours the passengers remained in their seats, and no food and very little information about why the flight was delayed.
There were also several children, and children packed on board the flight.
The flight was finally canceled in 20 hours, when passengers were finally allowed to disembark.
U.S. Airways, said that was the lack of de-icing fluid on the ground controller of the airline is causing the delay and possible cancellation.
Another flight from U.S. Airways on the same road was delayed for five hours, but eventually withdrew.
