Septa Bus Service

No snow day for urban workers in Philadelphia after a heavy snow storm dropped about a foot of the White City.

The sky was clear this morning, and officials say that the municipal offices and courts will be open as usual.

Philadelphia International Airport canceled almost 200 flights reports this morning due toto strong winds and driving snow. But the spokesman for the airport in Victoria Lupica said the airline hopes to be fully operational until noon.

Lupica said about 1,200 passengers stranded overnight.

The National Weather Service predicted wind speeds of 25 mph to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph this evening.
