Parents are advised that the new school year for elementary and secondary schools will start Tuesday 4 January 2011.
In a statement, said the Ministry of Education, that since the New Year (January 1, 2011), falls on a Saturday the following Monday 3 January is a holiday from school.
In colleges and Millennia Institute begins later and is unaffected by the summer, 3 January affected.
