Carmelo Anthony, 26, is the Nuggets in Denver with his family after the death of his sister, Michelle Anthony, and not the team before Christmas.

Anthony, who was involved in trade negotiations with the Denver Nuggets, New Jersey Nets, among other things, he is the team until after Christmas back together.
"Our entire organization supports Caramel at this difficult time for him and his family," the president said Nuggets vice president of Basketball Operations Masai Ujiri. "It is heartbreaking news, especially during the holiday season."
"Melo has been pushed to the edge of elbow injuries and has not practiced with the team.
Denver Nuggets, George Karl, head coach, said the news "takes us back to earth" and reminds him of his organization that there are more important things than basketball, trade negotiations and money.
