Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, turned now 87, an opportunity that went by his party BJP on demand "Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award for him was used. BJP leaders, including former party president, Rajnath Singh and Jaswant Singh of the Residence of Mr Vajpayee here and wished her birthday.


    If desired, Vajpayee, Rajnath Singh, former Prime Minister said he deserved Bharat Ratna for his contribution to the country.

    "The country can not forget the contribution of Vajpayee to parliamentary democracy has. Therefore, I humbly ask the government to him with the Bharat Ratna honor, " he told reporters.

    "If there was a steady decline in the political values of India, Vajpayee, a leader who is the commitment to these values for the last 55 years confirmed, " he said.

    BJP spokesman Shahnawaz Hussain described Vajpayee as a "living legend" and "officer"in Asia and said it with "Bharat Ratna"should be discussed.

    "Everyone should rise above party affiliation, to thank him for the honor, since no leader more than it is today, " he said.

    Senior party leader Jaswant Singh, who also welcomed Vajpayee expressed "understanding" of the former prime minister and the party to give him the opportunity to serve the country under his command.

    "It was the longest time of my life, " said Singh.

    But he expressed concern about his health, saying, it is "Health is of course under the pressure."
