There were no major injuries to the police in the eastern Connecticut reported on Monday because of a snow storm wind that began yesterday afternoon, slowing the morning drive.
The storm, expected to leave 6:00 to 12:00 centimeters of snow in New London and Windham counties, when it ends this afternoon, kicking, power to thousands in Connecticut, including customers in Ledyard. Part of Route 12 in Ledyard / Preston line of the city was closed for hours due to power outages, police said Ledyard.
A fallen tree closed a portion of the Old Colchester Road, Oakdale Monday morning.
Connecticut Light & Power Co. reported about 14,000 cuts last week in New Britain, Southington, Stamford and the communities most affected.
Strong winds have hit the electricity consumers and drivers. Gusts to 55-60 mph were in Madison, and Greenwich reported.
State police dealt with 67 accidents nationwide since Sunday, but only three of them sustained injuries and all injuries were classified as "low." The troops responded to 205 calls for help Sunday with 28 required "driver assistant" for acts after the calls.

Bradley International Airport, the busiest airport in Connecticut is advising passengers to check their flight status airlines call. Airport area is invited drivers to allow extra time for driving and Bradley on the duration of the storm.
