New York Giants co-owner John Mara, the rumor that Bill Cowher as a candidate to coach the next season could be classified dismissed.
ESPN reported Sunday that Bill Cowher, former Steelers were Super Bowl-winning CBS stations could coach the Giants, Texans and Dolphins in a short list of teams to consider coaching next year.
None of these teams have a head coaching vacancy, however. And the Giants are coached by Tom Coughlin, who led the team wins the Super Bowl three years ago helped.
Asked about the rumors Cowher New York Daily News, Mara said: "This is ridiculous This is ridiculous .." We are in this "We were writing stories Bill Cowher two months ago and now we are, it is ridiculous to write again? ..
Coughlin signed a contract extension for four years in February 2008.
Cowher said he would review the opportunity to retrain.
