Elizabeth Hurley's four-year marriage to businessman Arun Nayar ended in divorce today.
The couple were granted a decree nisi by District Judge Penny Cushing at the Principal Registry of the High Court's Family Division in London.
The judge held that the marriage had ‘broken down irretrievably’ and would be dissolved within six weeks.
Hurley had answered a question on a form which asked what ‘effect’ her husband's unreasonable behaviour might have had on her health as ‘N/A’ (not applicable).
Elizabeth, 46, announced in December that she had split from her husband, after pictures emerged of her kissing cricketer Shane Warne in a hotel in London.
Following the pictures' publication, both Hurley and Warne hastily issued statements revealing that their respective marriages had been over for some time.
Since then, the new couple have been making headlines for their on/off romance, rendezvous in Australia and India and tabloid rumours of his alleged infidelity.
Hurley, 46, married the Indian textile heir at Sudely Castle, near Winchcombe, Gloucestershire, in March 2007 - and had a traditional Hindu wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India.
The ceremonies were attended by numerous celebrities, including Sir Elton John, who gave the bride away.
Announcing her separation from Arun, Liz tweeted: 'Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this.'
She added: 'Painful, sad days. Arun & I separated for private reasons but FTR he has been a great father to our son Damian & will always be in his life.'
Hours later, Shane Warne, 41, took to his own blog to confirm that his tumultuous marriage to wife Simone was also over.
In a statement he said: 'Sadly and unfortunately, Simone and I split up a while ago, our close friends and family were informed at that time.
'It is a private matter so we did not make it public. We remain friends and will continue to be good parents.'
A notorious philanderer, Warne split from Simone, the mother of his children Brooke, 13, Jackson, 11 and Summer, 8, after a string of affairs, including a notorious sex text scandal in 2000 which saw him stripped of his Australian vice-captaincy.
They divorced in 2007, but got back together in 2009 for a trial reunion and still live together with their children.
The Daily Mail reported soon afterwards that Hurley may be facing a multi-million pound payout with the divorce.
Despite Arun Nayar’s reputation as a tycoon, his wealth is believed to be vastly exceeded by hers.
The Mail discovered the couple did not sign a pre-nuptial agreement before their lavish wedding ceremonies in India and Britain in 2007.
A source revealed: ‘A pre-nup would have been a deal-breaker for Arun. He has his pride.’
Arun has also moved on since the split. He is now dating 25-year-old model Kim Johnson.
The gorgeous brunette caught his eye at a jewellery launch in September, according to reports, and had their first public date at the Lady Gaga gig in London last month, and also attended last week's Glamour Awards.
