'Item girl' Rakhi Sawant wants to thank the Crime branch of Mumbai Police for probing investigative journalist Jyotirmoy Dey’s murder case.
The reality TV star, is willing to go to any extent to help the family of the deceased scribe if required. Rakhi feels for Dey’s family, since the item girl was known to the scribe, who had helped her to unearth the software scandal, which exposed the murky truth behind the voting pattern through SMSes in dance reality shows.
“My heart goes out for Dey’s family and I would do anything for them,” Rakhi said. She added, “I can also perform for charity if required. Dey was thorough gentleman, who supported me during the dance reality controversy”.
Rakhi and Abhishek Awasti, who participated in a popular dance reality show, were second runners up even after being the most popular Jodi. It was later revealed by Dey's report in an English tabolid that the relatives of the winning couple, had allegedly used some computer software which could generate around 1000 SMSes within no given time.
