A day after cops busted a rave party near Mumbai, sources said actor-turned-politician Vinod Khanna’s youngest son was seen at the premises of the resort in Khalapur, which was raided and led to detention of around 300 people.
As per police sources, the boy was identified as Sakshi Khanna but whether he was the part of the rave party is yet to be ascertained.
“When the raid took place there were around 300 people in the vicinity of the Mount View club resort. Some had checked in as house guests too. We are probing whether the actor’s son was one of those who were holidaying at the resort or if he was part of the busted party where banned narcotics substances were being sold,” said a police official.
Even after repeated attempts, both Vinod Khanna and his son Sakshi, remained unavailable for comments.
Another actor Shakti Kapoor’s son Siddhant was also seen at the resort premises, but was let free due to lack of evidence, it is learnt.
“Siddhant was intercepted by our team but those who were a part of the rave party had a stamp inked on their hands and the actor’s son had no such mark to prove his presence at the party,” added the police sources.
Siddhant, a disc jockey (DJ), was detained by the police after a rave party raid at Juhu's Bombay 72° East on October 5, 2008
Police seized nearly two kg Ganja, 57 gm charas, small quantities of cocaine, tablets and powders and Rs 308 000 in cash.
The raid ironically came on a day when the entire country observed 'Anti-Narcotics Day'.
