Mahindra Adventure

Mahindra in an official press release has given details of their bikes Stallio and Mojo. Now, post these press conferences we might suggest that please stay tuned to bikerzlane for the latest happenings with Mahindra.
Mahindra Mojo DetailsEven though the press conference released the first images of the bike, the bike will not be going into production this year. The Mahindra Mojo has been modestly priced at Rs 1.75 lakh ex showroom Pune. this price includes, unlike others, 8 free services. The bike will be available in 2011 and the images we see here are prototype images.
Mahindra Mojo update 3 – The Mahindra prototype included a gold plated frame. The bike will be offered with decal customization offers. this bike will be a collaborative effort of mahindra and Engines engineering. The bike will come with awesome Pirelli tyres.some of the technical specifications of the bike include a liquid cooled engine. The bike has suave Italian design making it a dream machine. With a whopping price of over a lakh, we doubt that Mahindra marketing strategy to market it to college going crowd will be much of hit.

Mahindra Mojo engineMahindra Mojo is powered by a liquid cooled 300cc engine with fuel injection. when you’re talking of high displacement, the cooling system needs to be liquid. Liquid absorbs heat better, and Mahindra’s teaser video it previewed earlier this month, had a bike with a radiator. The Mahindra Mojo is installed with a 4-valve engine. The bikes electronic fuel injection is from Ducati making it powerful to respond to throttle inputs and other parameters. The engine has dual exhausts which ease back pressure and should generate an awesome note while revved.
Mahindra Mojo suspensionThe Mojo is equipped wit front forks that are found on motorcycles that are such that are found with racing teams. The rear end of the bike is loaded with gas chargers that respond well to terrain and keep the riders undisplaced from their seats.
Mahindra Mojo brakesThe Mahindra Mojo comes fitted with disc brakes to the front and rear alloy wheels. The disc brakes provide immediate stopping power and suffer less from fading. they also get radial calipers which are more effective compared to regular ones.
Mahindra Mojo instrument clusterThe Mahindra Mojo has a digital instrument cluster that notifies the rider of speed, fuel remaining, rpm and time. There is also a gear indicator and all this lights up on a blue background.
Mahindra Mojo electricalsThe Mojo gets twin headlamps and LED tail lamps that are resistant to failure during extreme vibration, have longer life and consume lesser power. As a safety feature, Mahindra places the LED indicator lights on the mirrors of the Mahindra Mojo.
