Journey to the Center of the Earth (US box office: $101 million): New Line may forge ahead with a sequel to this film withoutBredan Fraser, who reportedly wanted the original film’s director, Eric Brevig, but who was unavailable to make a fall 2011 release. Deadline.com says that if Fraser doesn’t return, the movie would be refashioned for co-star Josh Hutcherson, but that strikes us as extremely unlikely.
