The All About Youth summer initiative kicks off June 15 with a showing of Gulliver’s Travels (2010) at the Lebovic Centre for Arts and Entertainment - Nineteen on the Park.
The show starts at 7 p.m. and costs $6 or $4 if you have a Youth Access Card.
Movies are also scheduled for July 20 and Aug. 17.
“The movie selection will be by the youth,” said Micole Ongman, manager of recreation for the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville.

This is the second year for the All About Youth summer activity initiative, which targets 10 to 15 year olds.
“It’s something for the youth to do, a safe place to go. A place to come out and hang out in a positive way,” Ms Ongman said.
Pick-up soccer and baseball will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Rupert Park starting July 5, weather permitting. Players only need to bring a baseball glove.
“We have it in the afternoon so they don’t have to get out of bed,” Ms Ongman said with a laugh.
The Friday night drop-in games, which include those played on the Wii station, have moved from the Memorial Park picnic shelter to the Lebovic Leisure Centre. That starts at 6:30 p.m. as of July 1.
Both activities are $2 a visit or free with the Youth Access Card. The card is $5 for the calendar year.
