Actress Nia Long and her NBA player boyfriend are expecting their first child together.
Nia Long of "Big Momma's House" is pregnant with her second child. The actress confirmed that the father of her unborn child is basketball pro Ime Udoka.
The new broke regarding Nia Long's pregnancy when the bikini-clad actress was spotted showing off her evident baby bump while strolling on the beach, during vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. After keeping tight-lipped about her unborn child's father's name for a long time, Long finally revealed it on Friday.
The new arrival for 40-year-old "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star is due this fall. While confirming her pregnancy to media, Nia Long stated, "This is the most exciting time in our lives. Words can't explain how thrilled we are by the new addition to our family. We feel truly blessed and appreciate all the well wishes and prayers."
This will be first child for 33-year-old NBA player Ime Udoka, and the second one for Nia Long. From her previous relationship with actor ex-boyfriend Massai Z. Dorsey, the actress has a 10-year-old son Massai Zhivago Dorsey Jr.
Long and Dorsey were in a serious relationship and were engaged to be married, but have since ended their relationship.
The former "Third Watch" star also took to Twitter to share the happy news with her fans. Confirming her pregnancy, Nia Long wrote, "Hi babies. Yes the word is out. I'm gonna be a new mommy again. Life is sweet!"
