Nella Fantasia

A place of mystery in the imagination of children, in historical reality defensive fortification, a sign of the power of the local lord and residence of the court and nobles. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, Piobesi remember the millennium of his castle with two days of meetings, debates and exhibitions open to the public. The first historical records about the existence of the local castle dates back to 981 AD when the building is mentioned in a document that gave the endowment to the church in Turin. Other witnesses then go back to the late Middle Ages, when the castle was defensive works. And then the nineteenth century, when it became a real home that housed the U.S. ambassador Marsch.
Recently renovated, for some years as a new role of "cultural center" in its halls hosting the public library and international cooking school IFSE.
