Lauryn Hill


Sean Kingston‘s condition has been upgraded to “serious” a week after the hip-hop star was critically injured in a jet ski accident in Miami. According to a statement released by his representative, Kingston is “breathing on his own” and walked for the first time Monday (June 6). “Sean thanks his friends, family and fans for their outpouring of prayers and well wishes,” the statement said. Kingston is expected to heal from his injuries in approximately six weeks…
Lauryn Hill told a crowd at a Detroit radio station concert Saturday (June 4) that she will be “taking time off to give birth.” This will be Hill’s sixth child. She is the mother of three boys and two girls…
Singer Andrew Gold, best known for his 1979 hit “Lonely Boy,” died Friday (June 3). He was 59. The singer, also known for his singles “Thank You for Being a Friend” and “Never Let Her Slip Away” had been suffering from cancer. Gold was also a member of Linda Ronstadt‘s band, and performed on several of her albums. He also did session work for Carly Simon and James Taylor…
The iconic red and black leather jacket that Michael Jackson wore during the filming of the “Thriller” video, is among the late singer’s memorabilia that will go up for auction June 25, in Beverly Hills, California. The autographed jacket is expected to sell for at least $200,000, with a portion of the proceeds from its sale benefiting  the Shambala Preserve, where Jackson’s two Bengal tigers have been in residence since Jackson left his Neverland ranch five years ago…
