India Against Corruption

The hacking group known as Anonymous has hacked the website of India's National Informatics Center in support of a civil movement against corruption in India, according to Computerworld. The group put up its logo and a message for the country's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh that read:
There is no use securing. There is no use of spending on forensic. Get this message clear Mr. Prime Minister and others.
In a message on Twitter, Anonymous said that the NIC site had been defaced because of violence against yoga guru Baba Ramdev by the central government. The hack did not result in any stolen data or damage. An unnamed government expert on cyber security calls the attack a "playful threat, that exploited some weaknesses of the NIC site."
