BHU


Under its eco-friendly initiative, the State Bank of India (SBI) started a green channel counter to encourage paperless banking system at its branch at the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), on Friday.
Institute's director KP Singh inaugurated the counter. Assistant manager of the branch SB Lal informed that the SBI, while celebrating the Bank Day on July 1, was installing green channel counters at all branches across the country. With this facility, the customers need not fill any form for money transaction.

Dhrupad workshop to conclude: The week-long workshop on Dhrupad recital, organised at the technical training centre of the Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW), will conclude on Saturday.

Meeting: The Bharatiya Kisan Sangh is going to hold a meeting of its managing committee at Nivedita Girl's Inter College, Tulsipur, on Saturday.
