The Gossip Girl star, who plays Blair Waldorf in the hit US show, is battling her mum Constance in the courts after she claimed the actress attacked her with a bottle.
Constance filed a lawsuit at the County Superior Court in LA yesterday declaring that Leighton, 25, threw her to the ground and repeatedly "hit her with a bottle" during an incident on December 11 last year.
It claims that her little brother Lex was forced to intervene to break up the fight.
The 55-year-old took legal action against her daughter just days after Leighton claimed her mum had spent an allowance intended for her brother on cosmetic procedures.
The actress said she had spent the £4,500 a month Leighton had set aside for her sibling, who has 'severe medical issues', on Botox, hair extensions, plastic surgery and other personal expenses.
But her mum argued that the money was not meant for Lex's medical care and was instead given to acknowledge all the help she had given Leighton throughout her career.
