Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC)decreased 1.48% to $9.98 on a traded volume of 48.56 million shares. The Company has appointed Jonathan Yip as a director of its China debt team.
JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:JPM) went down 1.28% to $41.65. Stephen Burke, director of the Company bought 25,000 shares at $42.18 on 22 July. Currently, he holds 86,740 shares.
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is up marginally 0.95% to $27.79. Microsoft Corp and SUSE announced a four-year extension of the groundbreaking agreement. This agreement is related to broad collaboration on Windows and Linux interoperability and support.

McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) increased 0.08% to $88.62 after the Company released second quarter results. Revenue increased 16.2% to $6.905 billion, above the Street estimate of $6.63 billion. Net income was $1.410 billion or $1.35 per share in the second quarter of 2011. In addition, the Company declared a cash dividend $0.61, payable on September 16,2011.
Caterpillar Inc (NYSE:CAT) went up 0.68% to $105.86. The Company posted second quarter EPS of $1.72, below the analyst estimate of $1.79. Revenue for the quarter was $14.2 billion against the consensus estimate of $13.52 billion. The Company expects EPS to be in the range $6.75-$7.25 and revenue to between $54 and $56 billion for fiscal year 2011.
