Charice

Gleeks will no longer see the nerdy Filipino exchange student Sunshine Corazon in the next season of “Glee.”

This was confirmed by “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy, as reported by “Balitang America” on July 1.  According to Murphy, celebrity guests will no longer be featured on the hit American musical series and that the show’s characters will be doing less singing.

This may be true as “The Glee Project,” an American reality television series, premiered right after the end of “Glee Season 2.” The reality show serves as an audition for 12 contenders who will vie for a role in the “Glee’s” third season.

In a previous interview with Celebuzz, Charice fondly recalled her experience being a “Gleek.”

“It was a great experience. Especially when we did the season finale, because it was my birthday when we shot the finale episode. It was a great experience working with them – all the cast, the crew, everybody. I just miss them because they’re like family now,” Charice said.

Charice also hoped for a return on “Glee Season 3” but said, “It all depends on them (the show’s creator and producer). Of course, I would love to come back.  Of course – it’s ‘Glee!’ Not only because it’s a big TV show, it’s also because of the relationship I had with everyone. I got really close with them, so I would love to be a part of it again.”

While doing “Glee” is now out of Charice’s international career, the pint-sized diva will be seen in her second Hollywood film “Here Comes the Boom” next year.

“Balitang America” also reported that Charice’s most-awaited sophomore album is set for release in October.
