The 10th standard examination result for state matriculation, Anglo-Indian, SSLCstudents are expected to be announced today. The district education department officials will formally declare the top scorers from Coimbatore educational district at Kikani matriculation school in the city at 10 am on Friday. 

"The result will be formally announced at 10 am and top scorers from each stream, the state, matriculation, and Anglo-Indian streams will be announced separately," said N Ananthi, Chief Educational Officer, Coimbatore.

As many as 49,000 students, including over 11,200 students from matriculation and Anglo-Indian streams, appeared for the 10th standard examinations which began on March 22 from the city. The state board examinations commenced on March 28. The exams were held at over 87 centres across the district. The final examination was held on April 11.

"All arrangements are in place and we are expecting good result from the students in the district," the CEO added. The candidates from the city had claimed that the science examination was comparatively difficult than mathematics. They were also given additional time of 15 minutes to read.
