Kitty

The novelty which propelled the Kentish Town teens into the limelight (they're young and play old-time rockabilly) having faded, Smoking in Heaven needs to live or die on its own merits.

Its 13 tracks, recorded in their vintage home studio, are self-penned and they've brought touches of ska and Latin into the mix, but KD&L still don't do anything Imelda May can't do better. You wouldn't run a mile at a festival, but you wouldn't cross a field to see them either.
