Bobs


Bob and Rosemary Grochowalski, of 1101 Monnett St., Bucyrus, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on August 25, 2011. Attica High School sweethearts, Bob “Grocho” and Rosemary were married in St. Bernard’s Church in New Washington in 1951. Rosemary retired from Bucyrus City Schools in 2008, where she worked for 29 years in food service. Bob has worked numerous jobs throughout his life, including farming, automotive work, parts and service management, and carpentry. He continues working at Wal-Mart.
They have five children: Lori Grochowalski, of Bucyrus; Bob Grochowalski and wife Judy, of Bucyrus; Pat Clem and husband Allen, of Southlake, Texas; Pam Parcher and husband Rob, of Bucyrus; and Ben Grochowalski and wife Kathy, of Bucyrus. They have seven grandchildren: Christin, Cory, Anny, Jessica, Lizzy, Heidi, and Dani; and seven great-grandchildren: Zoltan, Hannah, Micah, Greta, Mason, Carter, and Landon.
An open house and picnic for the couple will be held at 5 to 8 p.m. on August 13, at their son Bob’s home, 2075 Whetstone St., Bucyrus. Friends and family are invited to come—without gifts, please—and to celebrate with the couple
