Judge Nigel Lythgoe had predicted that it would come down to two girls and he was right. 19-year-old Moore beat out first runner-up Sasha Mallory, while Marko Germar came in third and Tadd Guadduang in fourth.
Of the 11.5 million votes cast by fans of the show, Moore earned a whopping 47%. As the winner, the Marietta, Georgia native takes home $250,000 cash, a spot in a campaign for Gatorade, and more.
Moore wowed the judges with her contemporary dances to songs like Sia's "My Love" and Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart," plus her powerful hip-hop routine, alongside Marko, to Leona Lewis' "I Got You."
I am so blessed and honored to be your season 8 winner. THANK YOU EVERYBODY!!!!!!! wow. #surreal #isthisreal," Moore tweeted.
Moore will be hitting the road along with the rest of the show’s finalists when the "So You Think You Can Dance" tour kicks off September 19th in New Orleans and wraps up November 17th in Glendale, Arizona.
