Zsa Zsa Gabor was amputated transported to a hospital in Los Angeles on Sunday evening as part of his right leg.
The actress, 93 years old, who suffered from several serious health problems requiring surgery in July after an extreme leg injury has not responded to treatment and life-threatening according to People magazine.
"The doctors wanted to work for several days, " said his agent. [Gabor's husband, Prince Frederic von Anhaux] and Zsa Zsa asked if they could spend New Year at home, and [they] share champagne and caviar. "
Gabor has been in and of hospitals and underwent a hip operation in July. In August the former beauty queen received the last rites to a priest after surgery to remove two blood clots.
Born in Hungary, Gabor appeared in over 40 films and was known for his numerous marriages and luxurious lifestyle. In 2002, the actress was partially paralyzed in a car accident. Gabor also suffered a stroke in 2005.
