David Nelson Dies At 74
David Nelson:Actor and director died at his home in Los Angeles of colon cancer, a family spokesman. 

 Nelson played in the comedy of real life whom their parents were - Ozzie Nelson, conductor and singer Harriet Hilliard - and his brother Rick. 

 TV in the U.S. ran for 435 episodes from 1952 to 1966. 

 The spectacle of the family started on the radio here as the Nelson in 1944 before coming to the small screen. 

 He became something of a national institution that is an idealized version of the American family with some of the arguments is the life of their own stars. 

 When the series ended, he was the family comedy longest history of U.S. television. 

 After joining the series for 12 years, David Nelson grew up literally millions of viewers. 

 Born in New York, where the actor from high school and went to school, then made his screen character. 

 After her marriage in 1960 his first wife - the actress Blair in June - was also his TV wife. 

 Nelson also had roles in movies of Peyton Place, The Remarkable Mr. Penny packer, Circus and The Big Show. 

 He then joined Direct TV spots, especially with his appearance in the film recently in the 1990 film Johnny Depp, Cry Baby. 

 In 1996 he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his contributions to the film industry.
