McKinney, Texas - Fourteen elderly McKinney ISD high school were honored by the National Merit Scholarship (NMSC) took their academic performance and commendable performance on the PSAT during their junior year.
Five students from McKinney Boyd High School - Cicardi Jenna, Matthew Fey, Peter Fowler, Meyers Ose Hollyann and Nicholas - were named National Merit semi-finalists.
Six students from McKinney High School - Matthew Blair, Rebecca Browder Eakin Alexander, Jeremy Friesenhahn, Friesenhahn Zacharias and Ty Hardin - and three students from McKinney North High School - Kathryn Balog, Jacob Minnis, Alicia and Zalusky - also known as semi-finalists have been named. Approximately 16,000 students were National Merit semifinalists named nationally.
These 14 seniors have become a finalist in the competition for National Merit.
