Recession Over

Some say that the U.S. recession is over. The recession started in 2007, changing the lives of just about every United States citizen. Being the longest recession since the Great Depression, many were blindsided by the misfortune, and thought that something like this could never happen in the U.S.

It is said that the downturn is over, and things will begin to improve. This doesn’t mean that people’s luck will immediately turn around. The economy is still hurting tremendously, with high unemployment rates and debt growing constantly.

The United States citizens will slowly see more jobs becoming available, as long as the country doesn’t find itself in another downturn. If there did happen to be another downturn, it wouldn’t be considered the same recession as the previous one. Just because the U.S. has found a way to stop one sinking ship, doesn’t mean the problems are over. There are still a lot of repairs to be done.
