Pete Postlethwaite Dies

The actor Pete Postlethwaite, has died at the age of 64. His friends say he died peacefully in hospital in Shropshire yesterday suffered with cancer for some time.
Postlethwaite was was directed by Steven Spielberg describes as "probably the best player in the world today."
He worked with Spielberg on two films in 1997 - the fantasy adventure film The Lost World: Jurrassic Park, Amistad, about a mutiny aboard a slave ship.
The rugged actor roles received an Oscar nomination for his performance as Giuseppe Conlon in the film 1993 in the name of the Father and of the wrongful convictions of the Guildford Four.
His notable films include the 1996 film Brassed Off, the head was from a coal mine in Yorkshire town devastated by closures. The film was a favorite of former Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott, and became the model for the regeneration program pool.
Postlethwaite has the menacing criminal background Kobayashi in the hit 1995 movie played the usual suspects.
Postlethwaite recent years has become known both for his political commitment of their actions. He was the leader in climate change film The Age of Stupid, on arrival at the London premiere of the year 2009 on a bike.

He is survived by his wife Jacqueline, his son, Will, and daughter, Lily.
