Drift profound changes in the Earth's core are the source of the magnetic North Pole caused to change Tampa International Airport, the name of one of their titles.
Tampa is about 3,500 km south of the magnetic North Pole, which is driving east toward Russia. However, passage of the magnetic pole caused TIA to its take-off and landing strip to 13 January in the vicinity of all the signs of change at both ends, as well as all taxiway signs.
The tracks are named after their corresponding angle to the magnetic axis of the earth.
Tampa once the main runway aligned in a 180-degree approach to the North and a 360 degree view of the south. However, the change of the magnetic poles has changed that. Because pilots a compass, align it to use the runway of an airport, TIA officials had to give track a new name 18R/36L. Now known as 19R/1L.
But the change of the name may not be permanent.
The magnetic north pole is the first time by James Ross in 1831, however, when Roald Amundsen, who in 1904 had moved over 30 miles. This was much slower than the magnetic north pole is now moving. Scientists say the magnetic north pole is moving Russia in a rapid 40 miles per year.
