Epiphany

The Feast of the Epiphany is an important festival of the church during the Christmas season. In the Eastern Church, today is Christmas, because for them it was not until that day that the Lord shows his glory. According to a popular Christmas song, now is the twelfth day of Christmas. "

Epiphaneia epiphany comes from the Greek and means "to appear." The festival shows the manifestation of Jesus Christ of humanity through the three kings symbolize who visited him and offered him gifts. Gold, frankincense and myrrh, we are not sure how the Wise Men visited, but the important thing is that they came to worship the infant Jesus as the promised Messiah and Lord of all.

The part we invite all Christians today to Jesus as Savior and Lord to find. His birth gave us hope and joy, at last, God has shown us that they are important. He came to save us from our sins. In Jesus we see the glory of God. In Jesus we see how much God loves us all. It is the true light of the nations to us from the dark place and all of us will enjoy the glory of heaven.

While we celebrate today, we are aware of the loving presence of God in our lives. We are sensitive to the coming of Christ in our daily lives. Christ continues to manifest itself in the people we see every day in the course of events in our lives, and other creatures around us. This event draws our attention to its manifestation in our world today. Christ to continue because he is the true light of the world. All reflect the bright light for others.
