Disney Marathon |
Some out at Disney on Sunday, were called just plain Goofy because they ran them both.
More than 53,000 runners from 60 different countries took part in the events.
About 18,000 people ran Sunday the full marathon, which is 26.2 miles.
Not everyone was on foot.
The first group of athletes were wheelchair runners who used their arms to pedal their special bikes through the course.
A blind man also ran the marathon as well.
This race was a real economic boom for both Disney and all of Central Florida.
An estimated 110,000 people came from all over the globe.
They paid money to race and to stay in hotels, both which boosted the economy.
