The news of the death of Tom Cavanagh, best scorer of all time at the head of the Worcester Sharks, has been a terrible blow for a long time coach Roy Sommer.

Cavanagh effectively reduce injuries after leaving Worcester. He had brief stops in Manchester in 2009-10 and Springfield this season and not play professionally at the time of his death.
